Patients who want to know the activity of their disease, diagnosed with:
– Crohn’s disease
The use of RAID-Monitor allows a fast, comfortable, and accurate follow-up of the disease activity.
Both Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis present a chronic nature and alternate periods with active inflammation with periods in remission, requiring a seamless evaluation of the activity to adapt the therapeutic strategy and limit the disease progression and its complications.
From GoodGut, we propose technological solutions which have allowed us to develop RAID-Monitor, a tool able to determine the activity status of the intestinal microbiota in patients with IBD. More than 20 years of first-level research have generated an innovative, accurate, reliable, and comfortable product, capable of improving the quality of life of patients with IBD.
RAID-Monitor bases on determining the specific microbial signature of the disease. The test has been clinically validated in collaboration with reference hospitals.
The test analysis is done under a quality system certified by ISO13485:2016, required for medical devices.
Take a fecal sample following the instructions of the kit. There is a free pick up of the sample at home in 24h.
Within 7 working days from the reception of the sample in the laboratory, you will receive a report with the test results.
Schedule an online or face-to-face visit with a professional expert to receive assessment and, if needed, immediate treatment.
RAID-Monitor is a non-invasive test
Patients in adult age interested in the activity of their disease, diagnosed with:
The test cannot be performed in case of pregnancy. In case of having had an oral or parenteral antibiotic, having had a colonoscopy, colon cleansing, or enema, it is necessary to wait at least 30 days. It is advised not to take the test during menstruation.
Inflammatory bowel diseases are a group of diseases causing inflammation processes within the digestive system. It is estimated that they affect more than 2.5 million in Europe and 1 million in the United States. Either Crohn’s disease or Ulcerative Colitis share a chronic nature and alternate periods with active inflammation and others with remission, requiring a seamless evaluation of the activity to adapt the therapeutical strategy and hamper the progression of the disease and its complications.
RAID-Monitor is based on the identification of the specific microbial signature of the disease. The test has been clinically validated in collaboration with multiple pioneering hospitals. Besides, it is performed under a certified quality system by ISO13485 required for medical devices.
